The Flaw

I run and run, run and run…
how far I run to find myself –
exhausted but exalted –
Away from those of strictest knowledge!

“Now hear this boy –
as we did before you –
For this is knoweldge –
and the only knowledge.
There is no more
and there is no less.
We need no adding and
we need no subtracting.
It is what it is and
what it has always been.
More over-
it will always be.
–  The same.
For you, for me.
No inbetween.
No ‘What if’s or but what’s….’
You’ll swallow it whole
and then you’ll grow –
to be happy.
And on that day when
you’ve grown old,
and all your stories
have been told –
You’ll give the youngsters this –
with nothing amiss –
and it will always be again.”

But, but – I must run and run.
For there is nothing – ‘cept for
“What if’s” and “But what’s” chasing me.

I see the flaw.
It is human.

Love the informal voice this has and the informal use of rhyme. The really speaks out directly.

“Those of strictest knowledge” – the status quo, the establishment that refuse to listen to new ideas, that will insist the world is a flat square and the earth is the centre of the universe – that rejected the innovations of Galileo – while the young come up with new ideas – and so the circle continues – but the human flaw still leaves room for quantum probabilities and endless possibilities and therefore your discoveries will finally be accepted in the end – from where new discoveries will be made – in a fantastic spiral of growth…

Hello Sweet Margaret Alice! Indeed, quantum mechanics and theories are in their infancy and there is so much left to be understood. Natural observations are the key to directing our theories and philosophies – And that is what I offer here… my opinion on what observations should be noted. That and a quarter won’t even get you a napkin at Starbucks. But, imagine the possibilities. There are two frontiers left for humans to dissect and research: The very very tiny world of neutrinos and the huge idea of extragalactic exploration. I believe a marked improvement of our understanding of the first will bring about a more rapid ability to accomplish the second…. Hope you’re having a good day today….
